A native of Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland, Gerry O'Beirne
is a self-taught master of the 6- and 12-string guitars and an inspired
singer and songwriter. Whether performing solo or with other artists,
his unique musical stylings and poignant original songs coupled with a
passionate love of the music draw his audience into an intimate circle
in the largest concert hall or the smallest pub. Gerry is also much sought
after for his skills as an arranger and producer. Gerry OíBeirne has toured
around the globe with several bands and artists including:

Well (which featured his unique slide guitar playing), The Waterboys,
Andy M Stewart, Martin Hayes, Kevin
Burke, and Andy Irvine.
He has performed at the White House, opened for the Grateful
Dead, appeared on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion"
radio show, and played electric guitar with Marianne Faithfull.
